Summary

Written by James Herriot, this humorous story is about a small pet dog named Tricki and his over-indulgent owner, Mrs Pumphrey. Out of excessive love, Mrs Pumphrey feeds Tricki rich food, cream cakes and chocolates, and gives him no exercise, until he becomes hugely fat, listless and ill.
