NTA declared UGC NET June 2026 results for 84 of 87 subjects on 28 August 2026, along with the final answer key. Of 6,07,151 candidates who appeared (7,73,806 registered), 4,241 qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor, 45,904 for Assistant Professor plus PhD admission, and 97,434 for PhD admission only.
Ummid.comResults for English, Commerce and Sociology were withheld after an expert panel found factual, typographical and translation errors plus repeated previously-used questions in those papers. NTA will re-conduct these three papers on 9-10 September 2026, with no extra fee for affected candidates.
