Every SPPU OEE programme publishes its own syllabus, and those documents are the best preparation guide there is — far better than a generic "SPPU entrance" book. They are not easy to find: the portal's syllabus menu needs a login, but the files themselves sit at a public address, one PDF per programme. We found 31 for 2026. This guide summarises the ones behind the most-searched programmes, notes which contain sample questions, and sets out a plan built on the one weighting SPPU does publish: 20 marks for Section A, 80 for Section B.
Where other pages get this wrong
SPPU publishes no previous OEE question papers or answer keys; only a few syllabi include sample questions.
Commonly published instead: "Download SPPU OEE previous year papers PDF."
No past question paper or answer key appears on the CCEP portal or in any department notice we read. The LL.M. syllabus carries worked sample MCQs, and the M.A. History and M.Sc. Data Science syllabi each include a "Typical Multiple Choice Question Example". Anything sold as an "SPPU OEE previous paper" is not from SPPU.

Syllabi we could not find for 2026 include M.A. Economics, M.Com., M.A. Politics, Psychology, Sociology, Education and Philosophy, M.Sc. Physics, Botany, Statistics and Atmospheric Sciences, Journalism, Media and Communication, M.Lib.I.Sc., Executive MBA and the foreign languages. For those, the 2025 syllabus is the best guide until the 2027 files appear, and the department's own web page is where the notification says to look.
Syllabi that go further than a topic list
Most syllabi list topics without saying how many questions each gets. Two print per-unit question counts, and for those programmes the plan writes itself; two more tie the paper to a named syllabus or split it into parts. M.Sc. Zoology puts 5 two-mark questions (10 marks) on each of eight units. M.A. History gives 9 questions to each of four Indian-history units and 4 to world history, all at two marks.

SPPU OEE 2026 syllabus, M.A. History. Each question carries 2 marks.
Notice what the History weights say: Maratha history is a full quarter of Indian history in the paper — nine questions, eighteen marks — which a candidate from outside Maharashtra may not have studied in depth. The Microbiology paper is built on SPPU's own B.Sc. syllabus, which suits SPPU's own graduates; others should read those three syllabi before anything else. The History syllabus also prints a sample question, on the Encyclopaedia's role in the French Revolution, showing the style: one best answer among four plausible ones.
The one official weighting: 20 and 80

Section B is four-fifths of the paper and the first tie-breaker, so the subject is where the rank is decided. But in crowded programmes the top of the list is bunched — the 2026 Computer Science list had a median of 90 — and Section A is where marks are cheapest to pick up: much of it is the same arithmetic and reasoning list across programmes, and it responds quickly to timed practice.

What is the syllabus for the SPPU M.Sc. Computer Science entrance?

We could not find a 2026 M.Com. syllabus on CCEP. The notification's general pattern — 100 marks in 2 hours, 20 + 80 — covers all OEE programmes, but without the syllabus the M.Com. details are unconfirmed.
How should I prepare for the SPPU OEE?
Work from your programme's own syllabus, give Section B most of the time (80 marks and the tie-breaker), and practise Section A in short timed sets.
How many months are needed to prepare for the SPPU OEE?
SPPU sets no figure. In 2026 there were about two months between notification and exam, so starting before the notification helps.
Is the SPPU OEE syllabus the same every year?
Mostly similar, but not guaranteed: the M.Sc. Computer Science eligibility changed in 2026. Check the 2027 syllabus when it appears.
Which books are best for the SPPU OEE?
SPPU names none. For school-level mathematics programmes, NCERT class 11–12; otherwise your undergraduate textbooks for each syllabus unit.
