Checked 25 September 2026. Intake from Annexure-A of Revised Circular 80/2026 (revised 17 April 2026) and the 2026 department lists. The 2027 annexure may change programmes and seats.
SPPU's OEE notification lists every campus programme in one annexure — Annexure-A — with its duration, intake and eligibility. It covers postgraduate, integrated and some undergraduate programmes together, so a PG applicant has to read past the UG rows. This guide pulls out the PG and integrated programmes from the 2026-27 annexure (revised 17 April 2026), shows which of them actually held an entrance test, and explains the 10% extra seats that appeared in the 2026 merit lists.
Where other pages get this wrong
SPPU's campus MBA and MCA are not OEE programmes; they are filled through the state CET Cell's CAP rounds.
Commonly published instead: "PUMBA MBA: PUMBA CET" or "all SPPU campus PG courses through the OEE".
Neither the regular MBA at the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA) nor the MCA at the Department of Computer Science appears in Annexure-A. Their 2026-27 notices describe institute-level rounds held after CAP Rounds I–IV under "Rules of MHCET CELL / DTE", ranking MCA by "State General Merit Number". The Executive MBA is an OEE programme.

All intakes from Annexure-A of Revised Circular 80/2026 (revised 17/04/2026); "Examined" from the revised OEE timetable of 05/06/2026. Performing-arts programmes are listed in the annexure but omitted here.
Annexure-A intake before the 2026 10% addition.
Why some programmes had no exam
The revised 2026 timetable says it "includes only those Programmes for which more applications were received than the intake capacity", and the notification reserves the right "to admit candidates without entrance examination if number of application are less than the intake capacity". So a programme's absence from the timetable is not a closure: it means applications did not exceed seats that year (or, for MBA, MCA and Modelling & Simulation, that another route applies). In 2026 that included M.A. Sociology, Hindi and Sanskrit, the foreign languages, M.Sc. Urban Water and Sanitation and several M.Tech programmes. It also means a programme examined in 2026 may not be in 2027, and the other way round.
The 10% extra seats in 2026
The 2026 department lists printed more seats than the annexure. M.Sc. Computer Science: "Total 68 Seats = Approved Intake 60 seats + 6 seats (10% additional) + 2 seats (Sports/Culture – Over and above)". Anthropology: 26 + 3 additional, "vide शै. प्रवेश/2667, दि. 18/06/2026". M.Com. 90 + 9; M.A. English, History and Executive MBA 66. Not every addition was exactly 10%: M.Sc. Chemistry's list printed 147 against an annexure intake of 135 (12 more), and M.Sc. Physics 100 against 90 (10 more); Chemistry's 5 industry-sponsored Medicinal Chemistry seats sit outside that 147. The order the lists cite was not published separately, and there is nothing to say it will repeat in 2027 — plan on the annexure intake and treat any addition as a bonus.
What changed between the first and revised 2026 annexure
The annexure was revised once, on 17 April 2026, four days after applications opened, and the fee was cut by the revised circular of 5 May. Changes worth knowing: M.Sc. Instrumentation Science went from 45 seats to 30; M.Sc. Computer Science gained a 50% (45% reserved) minimum that the 2025 annexure did not have, and dropped the 2025 option of Mathematics at graduation level in place of Mathematics at 10+2; and the application fee fell from Rs 1,000/800 to Rs 800/600. Read the revised annexure for 2027 as soon as it appears — the first one may not be final.
Eligibility: what Annexure-A actually says
| Programme | Eligibility (Annexure-A 2026) |
|---|---|
| M.Sc. Computer Science | Any science or engineering graduate with Mathematics at 10+2, minimum 50% (45% reserved) — new in 2026; the 2025 row had no percentage and accepted Mathematics at graduation instead |
| M.Sc. Virology · 6-year Biotechnology | Minimum 60% (55% reserved) |
| Executive MBA | Graduate with 50% (45% reserved) plus 2 years of managerial, executive or supervisory experience |
| LL.M. | 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. |
| M.A. English | B.A. with English as special or general subject |
| M.A. Economics · MAJMC · M.Lib.I.Sc. · M.A. Lifelong Learning · M.Sc. Media & Communication | "Bachelor Degree in any faculty" |
| M.Tech (Modelling and Simulation) | BE/BTech (any branch) or M.Sc. with a valid GATE score |
Most rows in the annexure print no minimum percentage at all — so the widely repeated "55% aggregate for all SPPU PG courses" is not in SPPU's notification. Final-year students can apply: admission is "subject to their passing the qualifying examination", is provisional until then, and is cancelled automatically if they fail; upload your last-semester marksheet if the final result is not out. What the documents do not cover is students with a backlog at the time of admission — we found no provision either way.
Practise it, don't just read it
Section A is common ground for every programme on this page — aptitude, reasoning and comprehension. Timed topic quizzes cover it alongside the subject.
The ProSyllabus SPPU OEE library has topic quizzes for English, Economics, Commerce, Political Science and Computer Science — the first one is free.
Which courses come under the SPPU OEE?
The PG, integrated and some UG programmes of SPPU's campus departments listed in Annexure-A of the notification — M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., LL.M., Executive MBA, M.Tech and others. Not the affiliated colleges.
How many seats are there for M.Sc. Computer Science at SPPU?
60 in the 2026-27 annexure; the 2026 list printed 68 with a 10% addition and 2 sports/culture seats.
Is SPPU MBA through the OEE?
No. The regular MBA (PUMBA) and MCA are filled through the state CET Cell's CAP rounds; only the Executive MBA uses the OEE.
Is M.Tech at SPPU through GATE?
The Department of Technology M.Tech programmes are OEE programmes. Only M.Tech Modelling and Simulation asks for a valid GATE score.
What is the minimum percentage for SPPU OEE?
There is no single rule. Most annexure rows print none; where set, e.g. M.Sc. Computer Science 50% (45% reserved) and Virology 60% (55%).
Can final-year students apply for the SPPU OEE?
Yes. Admission is provisional and depends on passing the qualifying exam.
Why was there no OEE for some programmes in 2026?
SPPU examined only programmes with more applications than seats; the others could admit without an exam.
Does SPPU accept CUET PG for campus admissions?
We found no mention of CUET-PG in any 2025 or 2026 SPPU admission document.
How many seats does SPPU LL.M. have?
120 in the 2026-27 annexure.
Will SPPU add 10% seats again in 2027?
Nothing says so. The 2026 addition came from an order cited in the merit lists; plan on the annexure intake.
