Join the Elite Indian Army Nursing Corps as a Commissioned Officer
1. Important Dates & Application Fee
Admission to the 220 seats across 6 AFMS nursing colleges is a multi-phase process. You must first qualify for the NEET (UG) 2026 exam before applying on the Indian Army portal.

Application Fee: βΉ200 (SC/ST candidates are typically exempted). Payment is made online via the Join Indian Army website.
2. Detailed Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Marital Status: Unmarried/Divorced/Widow without encumbrances.
- Age Limit: Must be born between Oct 1, 2001, and Sept 30, 2009 (17β25 years approx).
- Education: Passed 10+2 with PCB and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks on the first attempt.
3. The 5-Stage Selection Journey
Shortlisting is done based on your NEET score. A safe score for MNS is generally 500+ marks.
Shortlisted candidates appear for the Test of General Intelligence and General English. It consists of 40 MCQs (80 marks) to be solved in 30 minutes.
A qualifying round to assess your mental suitability for a career in the Armed Forces.
A panel interview held at base hospitals to evaluate personality, communication, and confidence.
Rigorous check-up including X-rays and USG to ensure absolute physical fitness for service.
4. ToGIGE Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Since the Science portion is covered by NEET, the ToGIGE focuses on your IQ and language proficiency.
