The Indian Army released the shortlist of candidates for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) B.Sc Nursing Course 2026 screening process by mid-August 2026, with screening at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt beginning August 20, 2026 for candidates who had qualified NEET (UG) 2026.

Shortlisted candidates must clear a computer-based Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE) of 40 MCQs worth 80 marks in 30 minutes, with 0.5 marks deducted per wrong answer, followed by document checks and a Special Medical Board at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt.

The MNS 2026 recruitment is open only to female candidates born between October 1, 2001 and September 30, 2009 who qualified NEET (UG) 2026, for admission to the 4-year B.Sc Nursing course across 220 seats in six Colleges of Nursing under the Armed Forces Medical Services.

As of mid-July 2026 no confirmed MNS B.Sc Nursing 2026 notification has appeared on joinindianarmy.nic.in. Trackers list the application window as tentative for June-July 2026 and the ToGIGE entrance test as expected around August 2026, so treat all these dates as unconfirmed.

The course offers 220 seats across six AFMS colleges of nursing: AFMC Pune 40, CH (EC) Kolkata 30, INHS Asvini 40, AH (R&R) New Delhi 30, CH (CC) Lucknow 40 and CH (AF) Bengaluru 40. Applications are made online at joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Only female candidates are eligible, and a valid NEET UG 2026 score is mandatory: NEET marks are used to shortlist applicants. Candidates need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at a minimum 50 percent aggregate. The application fee is Rs 200, with SC/ST candidates exempt.

Selection runs in stages after the NEET UG shortlist: the Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE) as a computer-based test, then a Psychological Aptitude Test, an interview, and finally a medical examination before the merit list and seat allotment.
