Checked 26 September 2026. From the CET Cell’s official CAP cut-off lists: 2025 Rounds I and IV, 2026 Rounds I (V1) to IV, Maharashtra-State and All-India seats. Stage I rows only (other stage labels are not explained by the CET Cell).
The CET Cell publishes the real cut-offs: after every CAP round it lists, for each institute, course and seat type, the merit number and percentile of the last candidate allotted. This guide reads those lists for the five colleges most MHT CET candidates ask about — VJTI, COEP, SPIT, PICT and Walchand (WCE) Sangli — and for the 120 courses that closed tightest in 2026. Because 2026 kept each candidate’s better of two attempts (MHT-CET 2026 brochure), 2026 percentiles run higher than 2025’s at the same merit position, so the merit number is the column to compare across years.

Where other pages get this wrong
The CET Cell file titled “Cut-off circular” (07.09.2026) is not a list of cut-off marks — it fixes 14 September 2026 as the last date for all 2026-27 admissions.
Commonly published instead: Pages treating the “MHT CET cut-off circular” as the official cut-off.
CET Cell circular No. 2187 dated 07.09.2026, following the Supreme Court order of 12.08.2026. The cut-offs are the CAP round lists cited below.

Official CAP cut-off lists, Maharashtra State seats, GOPENS (general open, state level), Stage I rows: closing merit number (percentile, rounded to four decimals). “—” = no GOPENS allotment for that course in that round’s list (usually no vacancy left) — not a cut-off of zero. In the CAP lists all these Maharashtra seats appear as State Level. Walchand runs government-aided courses and separate unaided divisions of some of them (choice codes ending in U); the two close at different merit numbers and are shown separately.
Read the merit numbers, not the percentiles. VJTI Computer closed at merit number 71 in 2026 against 103 in 2025 — genuinely tighter — while PICT Computer closed at 929 against 791, genuinely easier, even though its 2026 percentile (99.7857) looks higher than its 2025 one (99.7116). Later rounds usually close further down the list as seats free up, but not always: COEP Civil (4,148 → 2,660) and COEP Metallurgy (4,977 → 2,983) closed at a smaller (tighter) merit number in Round IV 2026 than in Round I. And at Walchand the unaided division of a course closes later than the aided one — CSE 2,196 against 1,796 in 2026 Round I.

Official All-India cut-off lists 2025 and 2026, Round I: closing merit number on the All-India list with the JEE (Main) percentile. VJTI has no All-India seats — government-aided autonomous institutes have no All-India quota under the CAP brochure’s seat-allocation schedule.

Official CAP cut-off lists (Maharashtra State seats, State Level, Stage I, general open category GOPENS): closing Maharashtra State General Merit Number, 2026 Round I and IV. With a merit number entered, a course shows as “within” when your merit number is equal to or smaller (better) than its 2026 closing merit number in that round — history, not a promise. Home-University, ladies, reserved, EWS and TFWS seats close differently.

Our extraction from the official CAP cut-off lists: the 120 Maharashtra-State courses with the lowest 2026 Round I GOPENS closing merit numbers (State Level seats, Stage I), with the same course in 2025 Round I/IV and 2026 Round IV. Merit number (percentile to four decimals). Institute names shortened.
Twenty-eight institutes appear in the top 120; Mumbai and Pune dominate, with Walchand Sangli, LIT University Nagpur, Government College Karad and SGGSIE&T Nanded among those outside them. Computer, IT and AI courses take most of the top slots, but not all: ICT Mumbai’s Pharmaceuticals Chemistry & Technology closed at 485 and its Food Engineering at 579 in 2026 Round I, above most computer courses in the state. Unaided divisions (choice codes ending in U) are listed as separate rows.
Practise it, don't just read it
Every hundred places of merit number matters at the top colleges. The MHT CET quizzes help lift raw scores in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The ProSyllabus MHT CET library has topic quizzes on laws of motion, rotational dynamics, current electricity, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, equilibrium, organic basics, quadratic equations and complex numbers, and calculus — the first quiz is free.
What is the VJTI Computer Engineering cut-off in MHT CET 2026?
Merit number 71 (99.9923 percentile) in Round I, general open, state level.
What is the COEP CSE cut-off 2026?
Merit number 150 (99.9767) in Round I; All-India seats closed at JEE percentile 99.4812.
What is the SPIT CSE cut-off 2026?
Merit number 537 (99.8804) in Round I and 873 (99.8010) in Round IV.

Why is the 2026 percentile higher but the merit number sometimes lower?
In 2026 each candidate kept the better of two attempts, which lifted reported percentiles; merit numbers are the comparable measure.
Does VJTI have All-India seats?
Not in the 2025 or 2026 All-India lists; government-aided autonomous institutes have no All-India quota.
Where are the official MHT CET cut-offs?
In the CAP round cut-off lists on the CET Cell’s CAP portal.
Is the MHT CET cut-off circular a cut-off list?
No — it set 14 September 2026 as the last date for admissions.
What is the ladies cut-off for VJTI Computer 2026?
LOPENS closed at merit number 166 in Round I.
