Checked 12 October 2026. The address is from the APS India FAQ as read on 12 October 2026. APS can change its address or procedure; re-check aps-india.de on the day you send. Packing advice marked "our" is ProSyllabus advice.
The APS India courier address is the one piece of information applicants search for most often and most often find on a third-party page. Use the address APS India publishes itself, and send the packet the way APS asks: by post or courier, complete, with copies only. This guide gives the official address, the copy and translation rules, a packing order that makes a missing item obvious, and the few things to keep before the envelope leaves your hands.
APS India mailing address (official, APS FAQ)
Academic Evaluation Centre India
Gate No. 3, DLTA Complex
R.K. Khanna Stadium
1 Africa Avenue
110029 New Delhi, India
Copied from the APS India FAQ on 12 October 2026. Check aps-india.de on the day you send: APS can change it, and an old address on a third-party page is the most common way a packet goes astray.
Post or courier only — no drop-off
The APS India FAQ says that required documents must be submitted by post or courier, and that personal document drop-offs and public visiting hours are not available. The June 2026 leaflet says the same thing in its procedure: submit the required documents, including the printed and signed application form, via courier to APS India, and keep a record of your courier tracking details.
That last point matters more than it sounds. The FAQ adds that, because of the number of applications, APS India cannot provide individual courier delivery updates, and asks you to use your courier's tracking service instead. Your tracking number is therefore your main evidence of when the packet arrived; keep the courier receipt and proof of delivery as well, in case you ever have to raise a problem.
Where other pages get this wrong
You cannot hand your APS documents in at the office in Delhi.
Commonly published instead: Older guides and forum answers describe dropping documents at the APS office or visiting during office hours.
APS India says personal drop-offs and public visiting hours are not available. Send by post or courier and keep the tracking number.
What goes in the envelope
For a student with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, the June 2026 leaflet lists thirteen items. Everything is a copy except the application form, which is the printed form you sign yourself.
| # | Item | Form |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Application form from the online registration | Printed, personally signed, with a passport-size photo not older than 6 months |
| 2 | APS fee transfer receipt | Copy |
| 3 | Aadhaar card with a linked mobile number | Copy |
| 4 | Passport, first and last page | Copy |
| 5 | Class X marksheet and certificate | Copy |
| 6 | Class XII marksheet and certificate | Copy |
| 7 | Class XII admit card, if available | Copy |
| 8 | Marksheets of all semesters | Copy |
| 9 | Bachelor's degree, or the college's provisional certificate (not older than 1 year) if the degree is not yet issued | Copy |
| 10 | Master's degree and transcripts, if applicable | Copy |
| 11 | dMAT certificate issued by g.a.s.t., only if the dMAT applies to you | Copy |
| 12 | Language certificate — German and/or English | Copy |
| 13 | Signed Student Authorisation Letter — German and/or English | Copy |
The leaflet adds conditional records. If you studied at a recognised polytechnic or vocational training centre, include its marksheets and final degree, certificate or diploma. If you spent an exchange semester at a foreign university, include proof of the exchange's duration, the name of the foreign university and the Indian university's recognition of the credits, with further records depending on whether those credits appear on your semester marksheets. Read the leaflet's exchange section before you pack if this applies to you.
How the copies must look
The APS FAQ asks for legible A4-sized colour photocopies, with both sides copied where a document has information on the back. Documents issued in English or in a bilingual format generally do not need to be notarised. A document issued only in an Indian regional language must be accompanied by a notarised English translation.
Never send these
- Originals. The leaflet: "Kindly do not send any original documents along with your application!" The Checklists page adds: unless APS explicitly requests them.
- An unsigned form or an old photo. The form must be personally signed; the photo must be under six months old.
- Documents by email. The FAQ says unsolicited email does not replace the required submission procedure.
- An incomplete file. Only complete applications are processed. The one exception: if the dMAT applies to you (summer 2027 intake or later), you may courier the packet before the dMAT certificate exists and send it afterwards — but every other required academic document must be in the first packet.
Our packing order
APS does not prescribe an order inside the envelope. This is ours, and its only purpose is to make a missing item obvious before you seal the packet.
| Layer | What | Why (ours) |
|---|---|---|
| Top | A one-page cover letter listing every enclosure by number (see our cover-letter guide) | Lets you tick each item against the list as you pack |
| Next | The signed application form with the photo | The one non-copy; it identifies the file |
| Then | Fee receipt, Aadhaar, passport | Identity and payment together |
| Then | Class X, Class XII, admit card | School records in order |
| Then | Semester marksheets in order, then degree or provisional certificate | A gap in the semester sequence is easy to spot |
| Last | Language certificate, Authorisation Letter, translations, conditional records | Everything else |
Before sealing, scan or photograph the whole packet. A scan does not prove what was in the envelope, but if APS asks for a document again you will have the same copy ready, and you will have a record of exactly what you prepared.
Before you seal the envelope
Tick each item as it goes in. The list follows the June 2026 leaflet; the last group is our own packing check.

Choose a courier that gives you a tracking number and proof of delivery, and keep the receipt with your APS registration number. If the tracking shows a failed delivery or a return, do not resend straight away: confirm the address on aps-india.de first — a stale address copied from an old page is one possible cause. Once the packet shows as delivered in New Delhi, do not ask APS to confirm arrival: it says it cannot provide routine courier delivery updates. For a genuine case-specific problem, such as a returned packet, use the contact form on aps-india.de.
If APS asks you for documents during verification, follow its instructions for that request. If it asks for them by post, quote your registration number on the envelope and on a short covering note, list exactly what you are sending, and send it the same way as the first packet. Those are the only documents you should add to your file after the first submission, apart from a required dMAT certificate.
Payment and the courier: which comes first?
Pay the ₹18,000 fee first, because the fee receipt is item 2 in the envelope. You can pay online through CCAvenue during registration or by bank transfer to the account printed in the leaflet. In a 2022 notice, APS said you do not have to wait for a confirmation from its side before sending your hard-copy documents. APS's registration page warns that manually wiring the fee will lengthen the verification process, so paying online is the better choice when you can.
Before you pay at all, check your university and your degree in anabin. APS News says students of Indian private universities rated "H+/-" or "H-" cannot be issued an APS certificate, and the fee is non-refundable once paid, regardless of the outcome.
Do it in one evening
A ready-to-fill cover letter, the full checklist by degree and a tracker sheet are in the kit; the target courier date for your deadline is in the free planner.
The free APS planner counts back from your university deadline to a target courier date. The APS Certificate Kit is seven printable pages built on the June 2026 leaflet: the checklist by degree, the dMAT rule, a deadline plan worked for three cases, five templates and a tracker. Page 1 is free to read.
After you send it
Keep the courier receipt and the tracking number with your registration number. Watch the courier's tracking until it shows delivery in New Delhi, then watch your APS portal status and your registered email. Tell your school and college that APS may contact them, and ask them to reply from an official email address: the leaflet says private addresses such as Gmail are not accepted, and an unanswered query can delay verification.
Frequently asked questions

Can I submit my APS documents in person?
No. APS India accepts documents by post or courier only and says personal drop-offs and public visiting hours are not available.
Will APS confirm that my courier arrived?
No. APS India says it cannot give individual courier delivery updates and asks you to use your courier's tracking service.
Should I send original documents to APS?
No. Send copies only, unless APS explicitly asks for an original. The application form is the exception: it is the printed form you sign yourself.

Documents in English or in a bilingual format generally do not. A document issued only in an Indian regional language needs a notarised English translation.
Do I have to wait for payment confirmation before couriering?
In a 2022 notice APS India said you do not have to wait for a confirmation from its side before sending your documents. Pay first, because the fee receipt goes in the envelope.

Only a required dMAT certificate may follow your APS file. Other academic documents must be in the first packet; APS may still ask you for documents during verification.
