The best AP PGCET practice material is free and official: APSCHE published the master question paper with its preliminary key for 30 of the 31 tests after the May 2026 sitting. This guide lists every paper with its test date and length, sets out what the main syllabi cover, shows how much earlier the 2026 cycle ran than 2025, and gives you a tracker to work through the syllabus unit by unit before the next notification.
Where other pages get this wrong
Only the 2026 papers are on the official site. The older links on the same page are dead.
Commonly published instead: aggregator pages promise "AP PGCET previous papers 2015 to 2025" and link to files of unknown origin.
The official exam-paper page links 30 master papers for 2026. It also still links four 2025 papers (tests 104, 112, 117 and 311) that return "not found", and there is no official archive for 2024 or earlier. We link only what the official server actually serves.

The 30 master papers of 2026
Each PDF is the master paper for one test with the preliminary key, and its header prints the same terms on all 30: 100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes, +1 for a correct answer, 0 for a wrong one, question shuffling allowed. The date and shift below are the ones printed in each header; where a test ran in more than one shift, the master paper is one of them. The file name is what you will see on the official exam-paper page.

Use the papers as a timed mock, not as reading. Sit one in a single 90-minute block, mark it against the preliminary key, and log every wrong answer against the syllabus unit it came from. Two cautions. The key is the preliminary one: a handful of answers may have changed after objections, so if an answer looks wrong, check it against a textbook before you learn it. And because the test shuffles questions, the order you see is not the order every candidate saw.

What the syllabi cover
Every test has its own syllabus PDF, headed with the test code and name, and all are pitched at the graduate level of the subject. None of the 30 syllabi gives marks or weightage per unit, so any "weightage" table you see elsewhere is somebody's estimate. The table lists the units of the largest tests as printed.

Two details are worth your attention. The Economics paper ends with a unit on the Indian and Andhra Pradesh economy — state-specific material a general economics text will not cover. And the Computer Science syllabus still lists DOS and Windows 98/2000 in its first unit; old-fashioned, but it is the syllabus, and questions can come from it.

The calendar moved: 2025 against 2026
The 2026 cycle ran roughly four months ahead of 2025 — notification in February instead of late March, tests in May instead of June — and the admission counselling moved to a new authority. If 2027 follows 2026, the notification could come as early as February; nothing official says so yet.

Our arithmetic from the official Important Dates pages. The 2025 notification and dates page disagree on the last test day (13 or 12 June).
The lesson for planning is that the gap between notification and test is short — ten to thirteen weeks — so a plan that starts when the notification appears is already late. Start from the syllabus and the 2026 paper now, and use the notification only to check dates and fees.
A simple twelve-week shape

Practise it, don't just read it
The 2026 paper tells you what the examiners ask. Topic quizzes let you drill one unit at a time between full papers.

Where can I download AP PGCET previous question papers?
The official APPGCET-2026 exam-paper page on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in has the master question paper with preliminary key for 30 tests. Older official papers linked there currently return not found.
Is there an AP PGCET 2026 paper for Polymer Science?
No. Test 311 Polymer Science was not in the 2026 examination schedule, and there is no 2026 syllabus or master paper for it.
Does the AP PGCET syllabus give weightage for each unit?
No. None of the 30 official 2026 syllabus PDFs gives marks per unit.
When will AP PGCET 2027 be notified?
There is no official date. The 2026 notification came on 7 February 2026 and the 2025 one on 31 March 2025.
How many questions are in the AP PGCET paper?
Every 2026 master paper has 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes, with +1 for a correct answer and 0 for a wrong one.
Are the AP PGCET answer keys final?
The papers on the site carry the preliminary keys. Objections cost Rs 300 each in 2026 and were refunded only if valid, so a few answers may have changed in the final key.
