Alerts and Updates for RRB NTPC

RRB declared the NTPC Undergraduate CBT 1 result on August 24, 2026, with region- and category-wise cut-off marks; individual scorecards went live from August 26, 2026 at 5 PM, checked via registration number and date of birth on the respective zonal RRB scorecard portal.

The undergraduate-level RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam is scheduled for September 17, 2026; the exam city intimation slip is expected around September 7 and the admit card roughly three to four days before the test, both downloadable from the candidate's regional RRB website.

RRB announced the NTPC Graduate-level CBT 2 result on August 27, 2026 for candidates who wrote the second-stage exam on July 10, 2026; zone-wise merit lists and scorecards are live, and shortlisted candidates now move to the typing skill test / CBAT stage.

For NTPC graduate-level posts, the typing skill test / CBAT for shortlisted candidates is expected around September 2026, ahead of document verification and medical examination likely in December 2026; RRB has activated the online DV portal for scanned document, photo and signature uploads.

The RRB NTPC Graduate-level CBT 2 under CEN 06/2025 was held on 10 July 2026. The exam city intimation slip went live on 1 July 2026 and admit cards were issued from 6 July 2026 on the regional RRB websites, downloadable with registration number and date of birth.

The Undergraduate CBT 1 answer key and response sheet for CEN 07/2025 were released on 27 June 2026, with the objection window open until 5 July 2026 at a fee of Rs 50 per question. The UG CBT 1 result along with cut-offs is expected in the fourth week of July 2026.

The current NTPC cycle covers 8,868 posts in total: 5,810 graduate-level vacancies under CEN 06/2025 and 3,058 undergraduate-level vacancies under CEN 07/2025 for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Trains Clerk.

The Graduate-level CBT 1 result was declared on 11 June 2026, and the Undergraduate CBT 1 was conducted on 7, 8 and 9 May plus 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 June 2026 across roughly 200 centres. All notices are posted on the regional RRB portals.

The NTPC selection process runs CBT 1, then CBT 2, then CBAT or a typing skill test depending on the post, followed by document verification and medical examination. Watch your own regional RRB site, since admit cards and results are published board-wise, not centrally.

RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 was conducted on May 7, 8 and 9, 2026, with the remaining slots scheduled for June 13, 14 and 16–21, 2026 across all RRB zones (CEN 07/2025). Difficulty: Easy to Moderate per candidate feedback.

RRB NTPC UG admit cards have been released on regional RRB websites and rrb.digialm.com. Candidates use Registration Number and Date of Birth to download.

CBT 1 result for the Undergraduate level is expected in May–June 2026 on regional RRB official websites. CBT 2 admit cards will go live from June 9, 2026 onwards for shortlisted candidates.

Graduate-level NTPC CEN 05/2024 final result has been released earlier in 2026 with category-wise cut-offs and zone-wise merit lists published on respective RRB websites.
