Checked 25 September 2026. The exam-form dates are from GNDU's Press Note 715/Comp-Sec of 17 Aug 2026. The December 2026 date sheets had NOT been published on 25 Sep 2026; every exam date for December 2026 here is a pattern from December 2024 and December 2025.

GNDU's odd-semester examinations — for B.Com in 2026, Semesters I, III and V (the first four-year batch reaches Semester VII in 2027) — are held every November and December, and the even semesters every May and June. For December 2026 the exam-form portal opened on 17 August 2026, and the last date without a late fee was 25 September 2026. After that the fee rises in slabs until 13 October, then by ₹1,000 a day. The date sheets themselves had not been uploaded on 25 September 2026; this guide shows when they came in the last two years, what the December 2025 B.Com papers looked like day by day, and what to expect on exam day.

Press Note No. 715/Comp-Sec dated 17 Aug 2026, for UG Semesters 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and PG Semesters 1, 3, regular and private. "The grace period of three days is already added in above dates, so no extra time will be given." Regular students' subjects are selected and the challan generated by the college on the portal; the college deposits the fee at the university cash counter or in the bank.

4–8 Oct₹1,000
9–13 Oct₹2,000

After 13 Oct the late fee is ₹1,000 a day, capped at ₹30,000 — so a week late already costs more than every slab above.

Two practical points. First, for a regular student the date that counts is the day your college selects your subjects and generates the challan, not the day you pay the college, so if your college asks you for the fee by a date, meet it — it has to hand the fee on by the "deposited by" date. Second, re-appear, special-chance and improvement forms for annual-system papers are not on the portal at all: they are submitted by hand at the university cash counter. Semester re-appears go with the regular semester form.

From GNDU's exam-form press notes. In May 2025 the per-day late fee ran until ten days before the exams; from December 2025 it is five days.

When the date sheet comes

GNDU does not publish one date sheet for all of B.Com. It publishes separate date sheets per programme group — one for B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com, another for Financial Services, another for Tax Planning and Management — on its date-sheet portal (collegeadmissions.gndu.ac.in → Student Area → Date Sheet; choose the year, the month and "UG Semester"). The table shows how close to the exams they appeared.

May 2026B.Com (Hons.) / B.Com Sem II, IV, VI15 May → 10 Jun 202628 Apr 2026

From the official date sheets. The dates shown are the latest revision on the portal; GNDU's circular of 30 Oct 2025 said "many date-sheets" had been revised and asked students to keep checking until the exams ended.

On that pattern, expect the December 2026 B.Com date sheets in late October or early November 2026, and theory papers from about the middle of November, with practicals before them — in 2025 GNDU's academic calendar for colleges put the release of roll numbers on 25 October and the start of practicals on 31 October, and theory began on 15 November. That is a pattern, not an announcement; the 2026-27 academic calendar for colleges had not been published on 25 September 2026.

Fri 12 DecBusiness Organisation (BCO01006T)—

From the Nov–Dec 2025 date sheet (issued 12 Nov 2025). Semester III ran 17 Nov – 9 Dec in the morning and Semester V 18 Nov – 12 Dec in the evening (Direct Tax Laws last; the 15 Dec evening paper was an old-2017-syllabus one), as printed and before the postponements below. Old-syllabus (Batch 2023-26) re-appear papers sat between these, e.g. Business Communication on 3 Dec. The gaps are whole days between the new-syllabus papers, our count.

The shape matters for planning: in 2025 the two heaviest numerical papers, Financial Accounting and Business Statistics, came first and only a day apart, while Business Organisation came last. If 2026 follows anything like that order, your accounting and statistics practice has to be finished before the exams start, not squeezed into the gaps.

From GNDU's postponement notices. Time and centre stayed the same. Every date sheet carries a note that dates may change and must be checked on the website until the exams end.

Roll number and exam day

What to expect

  • There is no separately named "admit card". Roll numbers are released on the GNDU portal and your college issues the roll number to eligible regular students; private candidates get theirs on the portal.
  • A college issues roll numbers only to students who meet the conditions — including 75% attendance in each paper. If you are short in up to two papers you can still sit the others, but you are declared failed in the short papers and must make up the missing lectures the next year.
  • Carry the roll number slip and a copy of the date sheet; GNDU's re-exam notices ask for both.
  • Be seated 15 minutes early. The OMR-cover answer book is handed out 15 minutes before the paper to be filled in under the invigilator's instructions.
  • Morning papers 9:00 am–12:00 pm, evening papers 1:30–4:30 pm. In December 2025 Semesters I and III were in the morning and Semester V in the evening.

Winter vacation. GNDU's vacation schedule for affiliated colleges puts the 2026-27 winter break at 25 December 2026 to 10 January 2027. In 2025 some B.Com papers were postponed into that window, so do not book travel for late December until your date sheet is final.

Practise it, don't just read it

Financial Accounting and Business Statistics came first in December 2025. Timed topic quizzes let you check them now, while there are still weeks to fix what you miss.

The ProSyllabus GNDU B.Com library has Semester I quizzes on Financial Accounting, Business Organisation, Business Statistics, computer fundamentals and English, each with an AI analysis of what you got wrong.
