TMUA (Test of Mathematics for University Admission) Articles & Updates
The TMUA (Test of Mathematics for University Admission) is run by UAT-UK and used by seven UK universities for selection to some courses in Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science; each course page says whether it is required. It is two papers of 20 multiple-choice questions, 75 minutes each: Paper 1, Applications of Mathematical Knowledge, and Paper 2, Mathematical Reasoning, which includes simple ideas from elementary logic. The content is higher-level GCSE and AS-level mathematics. No calculator or dictionary is allowed and no marks are lost for wrong answers. There is one overall score on a scale from 1 to 9, to one decimal place, and no pass mark. It is taken at a Pearson test centre, in two sittings a year.
