What do I get?

2 full TMUA mocks: Paper 1 (Applications of Mathematical Knowledge) and Paper 2 (Mathematical Reasoning), each 20 questions with a 75-minute clock. Practise question by question with the working after every answer, or sit a paper as a timed run that scores you by topic at the end.

Is this the real TMUA format?

Yes, as UAT-UK describes it: two papers of 20 multiple-choice questions, 75 minutes each, 2 hours 30 minutes in total, with no calculator or dictionary and no marks lost for wrong answers. The real test is taken on a computer at a test centre.

Which universities use the January sitting?

UAT-UK says seven universities use the TMUA for some maths, economics and computer science courses. Its TMUA page says the January 2027 sitting (4–8 January) does not apply to Cambridge or Oxford applicants, apart from a mature college at Cambridge or an Oxford Foundation Year with a January deadline. Check each course page.

Are these past-paper questions?

No. They are original questions written to the TMUA content specification. UAT-UK publishes the past papers from 2016 to 2023 free on its site, and they are worth doing too.

Will my score here predict my TMUA score?

No. The TMUA reports one overall score on a 1 to 9 scale, set against other candidates. A count of correct answers on a practice paper is not on that scale.

How were the answers checked?

Every numeric answer was recomputed by a computer algebra system, and every question was answered independently, without the key, before release. The working is shown with each answer so you can check it yourself.

How do I pay and get access?

One payment by card, handled by our payment provider. Outside India the price is charged in your own currency where we support it (pounds in the UK, euros in the eurozone). Access opens on this device straight after payment. Sign in afterwards to keep it on your account.

Format last checked: 18 October 2026, on UAT-UK’s TMUA page. Purchase policy.
