Welcome to ProSyllabus! These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of our educational platform, including all content, features, and services offered.

By accessing or using ProSyllabus, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

4. Educator Terms

4.1 Application and Approval

  • Educator applications are subject to review and approval by ProSyllabus
  • You must provide accurate credentials, qualifications, and documentation
  • False or misleading information may result in immediate rejection and account suspension
  • Approval does not guarantee specific earnings or student engagement

4.2 Educator Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional conduct at all times (see Code of Conduct)
  • Provide high-quality, accurate, and up-to-date educational content
  • Respect student privacy and confidentiality
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not engage in plagiarism, copyright infringement, or academic dishonesty

4.3 Content Ownership and License

By uploading content to ProSyllabus, educators grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, distribute, modify, and display the content on our platform. Educators retain ownership of their original content but agree not to upload content that infringes on third-party rights.

4.4 Payments and Compensation

Payment terms, commission rates, and payout schedules will be communicated separately to approved educators. ProSyllabus reserves the right to modify compensation structures with reasonable notice.

5. Use of the Service

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use ProSyllabus only for lawful educational purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
  • Posting offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content
  • Spamming or unsolicited advertising
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
  • Sharing accounts or selling access to the platform
  • Scraping or automated data collection without permission

5.2 Content Standards

  • All content must be respectful, professional, and educational
  • No hate speech, violence, explicit content, or illegal material
  • No misinformation or misleading academic content

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials on ProSyllabus are owned by or licensed to ProSyllabus and are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our platform content without explicit written permission.

7. Payments and Refunds

  • All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis within 7-10 business days if approved
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes must be resolved through proper channels

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service "As Is"

ProSyllabus is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.

8.2 Academic Results

We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, exam results, or career advancement from using our platform. Success depends on individual effort and circumstances.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProSyllabus, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ProSyllabus from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

We encourage users to contact us first to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination
