NBEMS conducted NEET PG 2026 on August 30, 2026 for over 2.65 lakh candidates, after releasing admit cards on August 26. The exam pattern was trimmed from 200 to 180 questions this year, one of the more notable format changes for aspirants to know about.

For the first time, NBEMS is set to release an official NEET PG 2026 answer key on natboard.edu.in, expected within about a week of the exam, giving candidates a chance to estimate scores before the provisional result.

NBEMS has indicated NEET PG 2026 results will be declared by September 30, 2026, after which MCC will run All India Quota counselling for 50 percent of an expected 42,077 PG medical seats (MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB combined), with states handling the remaining 50 percent quota separately.

NEET PG 2026 registration is open right now on natboard.edu.in. It began on July 1, 2026 and closes on July 21, 2026 at 11:55 pm, with an edit window from July 25 to 28. The exam is scheduled for August 30, 2026.

The exam will be a computer-based test held in a single shift on August 30, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The pattern is revised: 180 multiple-choice questions instead of 200, marked plus four for a correct answer and minus one for a wrong one.

Exam-centre allotment has changed. It is no longer first-come, first-served: candidates now select three states rather than cities, and the time at which the form is submitted no longer affects the centre allotted. Applying early gives no centre advantage this year.

NBEMS published notices titled "Conduct of NEET-PG 2026" and "Important Advisory for NEET-PG 2026 Applicants" on July 1, 2026. Read the information bulletin in full before paying, as the fee is 3,500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS and 2,500 rupees for SC, ST and PwD.

As per the schedule reported from the bulletin, the NEET PG 2026 admit card is expected around August 27, 2026 on natboard.edu.in, with the result expected by September 30, 2026. Treat both as indicative until NBEMS confirms them by notice.

NBEMS has scheduled NEET PG 2026 for August 30, 2026 (some sources cite August 31, 2026). The notification and online application window are expected in the second week of May 2026 at nbe.edu.in.

Eligibility requires an MBBS degree / provisional pass certificate recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, with internship completion on or before July 31, 2026. Aspirants must finalise their MBBS internship dates before registering.

NEET PG 2026 will be a computer-based test conducted in a single shift across NBEMS-designated test centres. The result, scorecard and merit list will be published on the official NBEMS website after the exam.

Counselling for All-India Quota PG seats is conducted by MCC; state-quota counselling is handled by respective state authorities. Candidates should preserve their NEET PG scorecard for both processes.
