CMAT 2026 was conducted by NTA on 25 January 2026 in a single shift. The provisional answer key came on 31 January 2026 with objections open till 2 February, and the final answer key plus result and scorecards were released on 17 February 2026 at cmat.nta.nic.in.

For CMAT 2026 a reported 53,453 candidates registered and 41,872 actually appeared, an attendance rate of roughly 78 percent, down from about 85 percent the previous year. The scorecard carries raw score, percentile and all-India rank.

NTA has no role in admission or counselling. As the information bulletin states, candidates must apply separately to participating institutions with their CMAT 2026 score, and each institute publishes its own cutoff and may add group discussion and personal interview rounds. The score is valid for one year.

No CMAT 2027 notification had been issued as of 11 July 2026. Based on past cycles, trackers expect the bulletin and registration around October 2026 and the exam in January 2027. These are tentative projections only; confirm dates on cmat.nta.nic.in when NTA publishes them.
