NTA declared the NCET 2026 result and NTA scores on 4 June 2026, publishing the final answer keys the same day. Candidates log in with their application number and password on the official NCET portal to download the scorecard used for ITEP admission.

NCET 2026 was held on 17 and 18 April 2026 as a computer-based test across 145 cities. 73,608 candidates registered and 58,995 appeared, an attendance rate of 80.14 percent, for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme.

There is no central NCET counselling. Admission is handled by the 223 participating institutions, which include Central and State universities, IITs, NITs and Regional Institutes of Education, covering roughly 16,950 ITEP seats. University merit lists are expected through July 2026, with first-round seat allotment expected by July-August.

Qualified candidates must register separately on each participating institution's own admission portal within its own deadline. For example, IIT Jodhpur's ITEP window ran from 9 to 26 June 2026 and Kurukshetra University's closed on 30 June 2026, so watch each college's notices closely.
