IIFT has published its final Selection Criteria for the MBA (IB) and MBA (Business Analytics) 2026-28 batch, and waitlist offers were still moving across the Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada and GIFT City campuses as the admission cycle wound down.
IIFT Admission 2026 portal (iift.ac.in)The entrance route into IIFT's next MBA batch (2027-29) is CAT 2026: IIM Indore opened registration on August 3, keeping it open till September 15, 2026, with the exam set for November 29 and the admit card due November 4.
Careers360 (CAT 2026 schedule)IIFT's own application window for the 2027-29 MBA batch is expected (tentative) to open in the third week of October 2026, with a merit list around the first week of February 2027 and group discussion/interviews the first week of March 2027, per IIFT's provisional 2027 calendar.

IIFT no longer runs its own written entrance test. Admission to MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) 2026-28 is on the basis of the CAT 2025 score, followed by group discussion, personal interview, work experience, academic consistency and gender diversity.

Shiksha — IIFT Admission 2026The published weightage: shortlisting for GD-PI uses CAT 2025 score out of 90 points, plus 5 for work experience and 5 for gender diversity. Final selection is CAT 55, personal interview 20, group discussion 10, gender diversity 5 and work experience 5.
Careers360 — IIFT Admission Through CATFor the MBA 2027-29 batch, aspirants must register for CAT 2026, whose notification is expected around August 2026 with the exam in November 2026. IIFT's own application window is expected to open around October 2026, mirroring the 2026-28 cycle that opened on October 17, 2025. Dates are tentative.
