GATE 2027 will be organised by IIT Madras, with the official notification expected in the last week of July 2026. Registration on the GOAPS portal is reported to open around August 24, 2026 and close on September 29, 2026, with a late-fee window until October 13, 2026. The GATE 2027 exam, covering all 30 papers including XL Life Sciences, is expected on February 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2027, in a forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and an afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The XL paper date will be confirmed in the official schedule.
