CSEET Registration, Enrolment, Fees and Last Dates for 2026-27

Checked 30 September 2026. From the ICSI restructuring announcement (10.04.2026), important dates for 2026, the October 2026 enrolment announcement (16.07.2026), the fee schedule (updated 29.09.2026), both ICSI FAQs and the Restructured CSEET page, read 30 September 2026. ICSI's documents give two different cycles for registration and enrolment; dates after February 2027 were not yet notified.

CSEET has two separate deadlines, and missing either one costs you a session. First you register as a CSEET student: once, for Rs 7,500, valid for three years. Then, for each sitting you want, you enrol for the exam: Rs 1,500 each time, in a window a few months before the test. In between, ICSI now requires a one-day Student Induction Programme (SIP), without which it will not accept your enrolment. On 30 September 2026 the sitting open for registration is February 2027, and registration closes on 31 October 2026.

Sources: October 2026 enrolment announcement and time table; ICSI important dates for 2026 (February 2027 windows); Restructured CSEET page (31.10.2026). The cycle for later sittings is from the restructuring announcement, the cut-off dates flyer and the student-services FAQ (registration 1 November to end February for June, 1 March to 30 June for October, 1 July to 31 October for February; enrolment 16th to 15th, late to the 20th).

Which CSEET sitting can I still make?

Enter the date you plan to register (today is filled in). The tool finds the first sitting whose registration is still open on that date, and lists the steps after it: Student Induction Programme, enrolment, late fee, change window, exam and result.

October 2026 and February 2027 dates are ICSI's notified dates. Later sittings follow the cycle in ICSI's announcement and student-services FAQ and are marked "not yet notified"; ICSI's CSEET FAQ gives earlier windows (conflict C1 and C2 below). Check ICSI's CSEET page before you pay.

Conflict C1 and C2: two different cycles in ICSI's own papers

ICSI's documents give two cycles. Most of them, including the newest, give the windows above. The CSEET FAQ, listed on 8 September 2026, gives earlier ones.

WindowAnnouncement, flyer, student-services FAQCSEET FAQ

What actually happened: the June 2026 sitting ran enrolment from 1 March to 7 April 2026 with a late fee to 20 April (June 2026 announcement and important dates), which matches the CSEET FAQ. The October 2026 sitting ran enrolment from 16 July to 15 August with a late fee to 20 August, and its registration closed 30 June, matching the announcement. For February 2027, ICSI's own CSEET page says registration closes 31 October 2026, and its important dates give enrolment from 16 November to 15 December 2026. Our reading: ICSI has moved to the announcement's cycle, and the CSEET FAQ still carries the older one. Go by the dates ICSI notifies for your sitting.

Where other pages get this wrong

The February 2027 registration deadline is 31 October 2026, and it is official.

Commonly published instead: Some pages give 30 September 2026 (from the CSEET FAQ's cycle), or print the February 2027 windows as "reported" or "tentative".

ICSI's Restructured CSEET page carries the February 2027 flyer (dated 24 September 2026) with "Last date of Registration is 31.10.2026", and ICSI's important dates for 2026 list the same date and the enrolment windows.

Fees and concessions

The registration fee is Rs 7,500, which ICSI says includes the Student Induction Programme and online classes. The exam fee is Rs 1,500 per session. The late fee is Rs 250, and each change of centre is Rs 250. A student who chooses the overseas centre at Dubai pays a surcharge of US$100 or its rupee equivalent on top: ICSI put that at Rs 9,071 for June 2026 and Rs 9,543 for October 2026.

Conflict C6. The restructuring announcement (10.04.2026), the CSEET FAQ and the student-services FAQ (18.09.2026) all give students from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh a 100% concession on registration. ICSI's fee schedule, whose page was updated on 29 September 2026, gives 50%. The fee schedule is the newest document, so we print 50% and flag the 100%. If you are from J&K or Ladakh, check what the registration portal charges before you pay; ICSI does not refund fees except for a double payment.

CSEET fee calculator

Add up what CSEET will cost you: registration once, then the exam fee for each sitting, with any concession, late fee, centre change or Dubai surcharge.

Our arithmetic on ICSI's fee schedule (updated 29.09.2026) and the October 2026 enrolment announcement. Applying concessions only to the Rs 7,500 and Rs 1,500 (not to late or change fees) is our reading; ICSI does not say either way. No refunds except double payment.

The Student Induction Programme

Students registered for CSEET on or after 16 December 2025 must attend a one-day Student Induction Programme within one month of registration, and completing it is a pre-requisite for enrolling in the CSEET exam. ICSI's guidelines set it as one day of six hours, scheduled between 9 AM and 6 PM, in batches of 10 to 50 students, at ICSI regional offices and chapters, with an online version through ICSI's LMS for students living more than 100 km away. The Rs 500 fee is part of the Rs 7,500 registration fee. The three sessions cover the ICSI and the profession, the journey from student to Company Secretary, and the syllabus, free online classes and exam pattern. ICSI asks students to contact their nearest regional office or chapter and attend early rather than wait for the deadline.

Conflict C5: when results come out

ICSI gives three descriptions of the result date. The announcement says results are declared "latest by" March, July and November. The CSEET FAQ says the last week of those months. The cut-off dates flyer and the student-services FAQ say the 15th: 15 March, 15 July and 15 November. The June 2026 result was declared on 15 July 2026, which fits the 15th. We therefore expect the October 2026 result on 15 November 2026, while noting that the other documents allow a later date.

What we could not confirm

The windows for June 2027 and later are not yet notified; the tool shows ICSI's usual cycle and labels it so. ICSI does not say whether the late fee and centre-change fee get the same concession as the exam fee, so the calculator does not apply one. We found no official list of CSEET exam cities. The Dubai surcharge in rupees changes each session with the exchange rate, so the calculator asks you to enter ICSI's figure for your sitting. For help, ICSI's helpdesk is 0120-4522000 (Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5 PM, per the cut-off dates flyer) and its online helpdesk is support.icsi.edu.
