Checked 30 September 2026. High: fees here are for the batch admitted in 2026 (SNAP 2025 cycle). The batch admitted through SNAP 2026 will pay the 2027-29 fees, which are not yet published; SIBM Pune's academic fee has risen every batch since 2023.
A Symbiosis MBA through SNAP costs from ₹4.6 lakh to ₹13.1 lakh in academic fees for the first year alone, before hostel and mess, depending on the programme. The dearest is SIBM Pune at ₹13,10,000 a year; the cheapest listed are Sports Management at SSSS (₹4,60,000) and Food Technology at SSCANS (₹4,72,000). Intakes run from 5 seats on each dual degree to 300 at SIMS. The figures below are from the SIU PG Prospectus 2026-27, which covers the batch admitted through SNAP 2025; the fees for students admitted through SNAP 2026 are not yet published, so expect them to be the same or higher. ProSyllabus is an independent study site. It is not part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), the Symbiosis Test Secretariat that conducts SNAP, or any Symbiosis institute. Every rule here is quoted or summarised from snaptest.org, the SNAP 2026 bulletin or an institute's own published document, and those documents decide every case.

Where other pages get this wrong
SIBM Pune's academic fee for the 2026-28 batch is ₹6,55,000 per instalment, four instalments, which is ₹13,10,000 a year.
Commonly published instead: SIBM Pune's own fee page labels the ₹6,55,000 row "Academic Fees (Per Annum)", and pages that copy it quote the SIBM Pune MBA at ₹6.55 lakh a year.
The same fee sheet shows two ₹6,55,000 instalments in the first year and two in the second, and the SIU prospectus gives the per-annum academic fee as ₹13,10,000. Four instalments of ₹6,55,000 make ₹26,20,000 over two years (our arithmetic). Figures of "₹13.30 lakh total" or "₹32,13,800" that circulate online match neither document.

SIBM Pune: four batches of fee rises
SIBM Pune publishes its fee sheet batch by batch, which makes it the one institute where the trend is visible in official figures. The academic fee is paid in four equal instalments over two years.
SIBM Pune fee structure page. Values in ₹ lakh.
| Batch | Per instalment | Two-year academic fee (our arithmetic) | Rise on previous batch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023-25 | ₹5,55,000 | ₹22,20,000 | — |

| 2025-27 | ₹6,22,500 | ₹24,90,000 | 2.9% |
| 2026-28 | ₹6,55,000 | ₹26,20,000 | 5.2% |
Across three rises the academic fee went up 18% (our arithmetic, 2023-25 to 2026-28). A candidate sitting SNAP 2026 will join the 2027-29 batch, whose fee is not yet on the page. Nothing official says what it will be; the trend only says it has not fallen in the four batches shown.

These are sanctioned seats; international candidates are admitted over and above them, up to 25%, and Kashmiri migrants have two supernumerary seats per programme. Reserved-category shares (SC 15%, ST 7.5%, PwD 3%, and institute-specific quotas) sit inside the intake.
Reading the fee table sensibly
Before you compare two programmes on fee
- Compare like with like: the table is first-year academic fee only. Hostel, mess and deposits can add ₹2 lakh or more a year.
- Check the second year. SIBM Pune charges the same academic fee in both years for 2026-28; we did not verify the second year for other institutes.
- SIMS has three fee levels by seat category, and SIBM Nagpur charges Nagpur-domicile students 15% less.
- The dual degrees (Durham, Aston) cost more because part of the programme is abroad; their fees here are the SIU share.
- These are last cycle's figures. Each institute publishes the 2027-29 fees on its own website.
Practise it, don't just read it
Every one of these seats starts with a SNAP percentile. Practise the reading and reasoning that make up much of the paper.
Two SNAP quizzes are live on ProSyllabus today, 10 questions each: Reading Comprehension Inference Fundamentals and Critical Reasoning Assumptions Advanced Challenge. They cover General English and reasoning. There is no quiz yet for Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency or for the new Ethics, Morality and Values section.
