Written examination through which serving Junior Commissioned Officers and other ranks of the Indian Army are commissioned as Special Commissioned Officers. Conducted alongside the Army Cadet College examination and open to older, longer-serving personnel. Papers cover general mental ability, general and current affairs and English, followed by the SSB interview and medical board.
