IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test, Italy)
The International Medical Admissions Test is the entrance exam for English-taught Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry degrees at Italian public universities, including Milan, Pavia, Bologna, Padua, Turin, Rome La Sapienza and Naples. A 100-minute multiple-choice paper covering reading skills and general knowledge, logical reasoning, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics, sat at Pearson VUE-style centres worldwide including New Delhi and Chennai. Around 13,500 candidates compete each year for a few hundred non-EU places, making it one of the most competitive routes into an English-language European medical degree.
