CBIC Departmental Examination for Promotion to Inspector (Central Tax / Preventive Officer / Examiner) Group Discussion

Departmental examination of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs through which serving Executive Assistants, Stenographers Grade I and other feeder staff qualify for promotion to Inspector of Central Tax, Preventive Officer or Examiner. Held twice a year and distinct from the confirmation examination for direct-recruit Inspectors. Papers on central excise and GST or customs and allied law, administration and service rules, law, commercial practice and general knowledge, computer applications, and Hindi.
