CAT on seven pages, laid out by what the 2023–2025 papers actually asked: the Quant formulas unit by unit with worked examples, the DILR set types and VARC question types with their methods, the +3 / −1 scoring maths, 15 traps, the exam-day rules and a timed self-test.
The rest of it — pages 2 to 7
About an hour for one careful pass: formulas, methods, scoring maths and traps.
What is inside
- 1What CAT asked in 2023–2025, counted question by question, then the first unit
- 2Percentages and interest, ratio, mixtures and averages — formulas and worked examples
- 3Speed and work, equations, quadratics and surds
- 4Logs and indices, progressions, inequalities and modulus, functions
- 5Geometry, number system, permutations, combinations and sets
- 6DILR set types and VARC question types, with the methods that solve them
- 7The scoring maths, 15 traps, the last week, a timed self-test and the exam-day rules
Keep it through your prep, not just the last week
How to revise with it, page by page
Don't read it like a textbook. Read → close → recall → repeat.
What went into these seven pages
Written from the primary documents, not from other people's notes:
- The CAT 2026 Information Bulletin and Eligibility document dated 26.07.2026, the Press Release of 26.07.2026 and the Media Releases of 15.09.2026 and 22.09.2026.
- The CAT FAQs on iimcat.ac.in, read 26.09.2026 — marking, non-MCQs, the calculator, the scribble pad, the official mock, bio-breaks and PwBD time. The CAT 2025 Bulletin and Press Release were used only to show what changed.
- Every point checked by two independent AI reviewers (ChatGPT and DeepSeek); points they flagged were rewritten until both passed them.
Three things most material still gets wrong
- No CAT 2026 notice gives the number of questions — the official FAQ says the non-MCQ count "varies and cannot be disclosed"; "68 questions, 204 marks" is a projection from past papers.
- Registration closed on 22 September 2026, not 15 September — and the CAT website's own FAQ still prints the old date.
- A wrong typed (non-MCQ) answer costs nothing, so a non-MCQ you have worked on is never left blank; a blind four-option guess averages exactly zero.
Every exam fact is tied to the CAT notice or FAQ answer it comes from.
Questions
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Page 1 is free to read in full at the top of this page — no sign-in, no payment. Every other page is shown beside it as a thumbnail, so you can see exactly how much there is before you pay for it.
Is it only for the last week before the exam?
No. It is a cheatsheet of the important points, formulas and facts. Keep it on your phone and use it all through your preparation: before a mock, when a topic slips, and for one full read in the final days.
How do I get it after paying?
It's yours the moment the payment clears, and you come straight back to this page with Download and Read buttons. It stays in your ProSyllabus account.
Can I pay with UPI?
Yes — UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay. If you already have ProSyllabus credits, they are used instead and nothing is charged.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Page 1 is on this page in full, free — what CAT asked in 2023–2025, counted question by question, and the first Quant unit. It is the same page you would get.
Is this an official IIM document?
No. It is a revision kit compiled by ProSyllabus from the IIMs' CAT 2026 Bulletin, Press and Media Releases and the FAQs on iimcat.ac.in. Always check iimcat.ac.in and your admit card.
Does it tell me how many questions there will be?
No — no CAT 2026 notice gives the number, and the FAQ says the non-MCQ count cannot be disclosed. The kit shows how to set your pace from the official mock, open from 12 November 2026.
Does it cover each IIM's shortlisting cut-offs?
No. Every IIM sets its own cut-offs and weights and publishes them on its own website (CAT 2026 Bulletin, "Admission Process").
What does this kit cover?
Seven pages as a quick course, weighted by what the 2023–2025 papers asked: the Quant formulas unit by unit with worked examples, the DILR set types and VARC question types with their methods, the +3 / −1 scoring maths, the exam-day rules and the traps. Every point was checked by two independent AI reviewers — the exam facts against the IIMs' CAT 2026 notices and FAQ, the maths by working each example.
