Bank Promotion Examination (Clerk to Officer / Scale I) Syllabus

Internal promotion test through which serving clerical staff of public sector banks enter the officer cadre in Scale I, run by each bank under its own promotion policy and commonly shortened by holding JAIIB and CAIIB. The paper covers banking law and practice, RBI guidelines, priority sector lending, KYC and anti-money-laundering norms, deposits and advances, and the bank’s own products and procedures.
