The PM YASASVI entrance test (YET) remains discontinued: since 2023 the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has selected scholars purely on Class 8/10 board-exam merit rather than a written test, and no YET notification has appeared for the 2026-27 cycle either.

There is no YASASVI Entrance Test to prepare for any more. The YET, earlier conducted by NTA, has been discontinued, and selection under PM YASASVI is now purely merit-based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination of the previous class. Students apply for the scholarship instead of sitting an entrance exam.

Defective-application and institute verification run to 15 November 2026, and DNO/SNO/MNO verification to 30 November 2026.
