INI CET July 2026 counselling's open round -- covering 875 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats across AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST -- had its seat allotment result on 21 August 2026, with candidates accepting seats and reporting to allotted colleges, including JIPMER Puducherry, between 22 and 31 August 2026.

INI SS July 2026 super-speciality (DM/MCh) counselling's open round covered 363 vacant seats across the same institutes; the seat allotment result came out 24 August 2026, and allotted candidates -- including at JIPMER -- must report with documents and a refundable Rs 3 lakh security deposit by 31 August 2026.

JIPMER's MBBS seats are filled through NEET UG via the Medical Counselling Committee. MCC's Round 2 for the 2026 cycle -- covering All India Quota and central institutions like JIPMER -- opens registration and choice filling on 3 September 2026, with results due 11 September and reporting from 12-18 September.

JIPMER's rolling advertisement for Senior Resident posts (July 2026 cycle) covered 89 vacancies across 27 departments at the Puducherry and Karaikal campuses. Online registration ran from June 5 to June 29, 2026, and the written test and interviews were held on July 2, 3 and 4, 2026.

JIPMER recruits Senior Residents on a regular three-year tenure basis through rolling advertisements issued every few months, so the July cycle closing does not mean the door is shut. All advertisements, interview dates, results and joining notices are posted only on the JIPMER website.

JIPMER MBBS and B.Sc Nursing seats are filled through NEET UG. The May 3, 2026 NEET UG was cancelled over a paper leak and a re-exam was held on June 21, 2026; NTA has said the result will be declared by July 20, 2026, after which MCC counselling for JIPMER seats follows.

JIPMER still runs its own entrance test for B.Sc Allied Health Sciences, traditionally held on the last Sunday of July, with in-person counselling at Puducherry. The 2026 date is not officially confirmed here, so treat it as tentative and watch the JIPMER admissions announcements page.

JIPMER MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch admissions for July 2026 session are based on INI CET May 2026, conducted on May 16, 2026 by AIIMS. The result will be declared on May 23, 2026.

JIPMER MBBS admission for 2026 is routed through NEET UG 2026 (held May 3, 2026), with counselling conducted by MCC. The expected counselling window is July 2026 after result declaration in June 2026.
