Alerts and Updates for ICAR-AIEEA-PG

NTA declared the ICAR AIEEA-PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 results on August 29, 2026, for the test held July 4. Of 42,110 registered candidates, 38,720 appeared. Scorecards are live at exams.nta.nic.in/icar; qualified candidates now go through ICAR's eligibility and document-verification process before counselling.

Ahead of results, NTA released the provisional ICAR AIEEA-PG/AICE-JRF-SRF PhD 2026 answer key and recorded responses on August 16, with an online objection window open through August 18, 2026 (11:59 pm), at a challenge fee of Rs 200 per question.

The August 29 result breakdown: 28,303 of 30,619 registered AIEEA-PG candidates appeared, and 10,417 of 11,491 registered AICE-JRF/SRF candidates appeared for the July 4 test. NTA posted separate direct scorecard links for the PG and PhD streams on its ICAR portal.

NTA conducted ICAR AIEEA (PG) 2026 on 4 July 2026 as a two-hour computer-based test covering 20 subjects across roughly 122 cities. Admit cards, the advance exam-city intimation and the PwBD scribe portal were all released on the NTA ICAR portal ahead of the exam.

Registration opened on 8 May 2026 and NTA extended the last date for the application form and fee payment to 10 June 2026, after which a correction window was opened. Applications are now closed for the 2026 cycle.

As of 11 July 2026 the provisional answer key and objection window had not been published. Based on past cycles these are expected within about two weeks of the exam, with the result tentatively in August 2026. Watch exams.nta.nic.in/icar for the notice.

Qualifying the exam does not by itself give a seat. ICAR runs central online counselling at icarcounseling.com where candidates register, fill choices and pay a registration fee. Counselling for the 2026-27 session is expected to open after results, tentatively around September 2026.

The official AIEEA (PG) syllabus is published on the ICAR site. The exam fills a share of master's seats at state agricultural universities and all seats at the ICAR deemed universities such as IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, so preparation must follow the ICAR subject-wise syllabus.
