Alerts and Updates for DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU

With the CUET PG 2026 result out, admission is not centralised: DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU (and other participating universities) each run their own independent PG counselling and seat-allotment process off the same CUET PG score, so a candidate must register separately with every university they want to join.

BHU ran a final PG 'mop-up' round in August 2026: vacant seats were declared on 4 August, department-level merit lists and seat allotment followed by 18 August, and allotted candidates had to pay fees within 48 hours of the allotment.

JNU kept its CUET-PG-based application window open through 17 August 2026 for the 2026-27 postgraduate session, with admission formalities for allotted candidates continuing into the last week of August.

BBAU Lucknow's 2026-27 postgraduate admissions likewise run through its own CUET-PG portal rather than a joint schedule with DU, JNU or BHU.

CUET UG 2026, the common gateway to DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU, was held as a computer-based test from 11 to 31 May 2026 with extra dates on 6 and 7 June. NTA declared the result and scorecards on 23 June 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in.

Delhi University's CSAS UG 2026 registration closed on 11 July 2026. Simulated ranks are shown on 12 July, preferences can be reordered on 12-13 July, the first allotment list comes at 5 pm on 16 July, acceptance by 18 July and fee payment by 21 July.

BHU has opened undergraduate admission registration for CUET UG 2026 qualifiers on its Samarth portal; the window is reported to run from 9 July to 25 July 2026. Candidates must register separately with BHU, since there is no common CUET counselling portal.

At JNU, CUET UG feeds only a narrow set of undergraduate courses, the Foreign Language Honours programmes and the integrated Ayurveda Biology course. Applications are made at jnuee.jnu.ac.in and JNU's CUET-based counselling is expected in August 2026.

BBAU Lucknow had not opened its CUET UG counselling window as of 11 July 2026; registration at bbau.ac.in is expected around the third week of July 2026. Treat this as tentative and watch the university's own admission page rather than any common portal.
