DU Cut-off 2026 via CUET: Minimum Allocation Scores, College by College

Delhi University has not published a “cut-off” in the old sense since CUET arrived. What it publishes after each round of its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is the minimum allocation score: the lowest CUET-based merit score that was allotted a seat in that round, for each college, programme and category. It is history, not a threshold — the next round’s minimum depends on who accepted, who upgraded and how many seats fell vacant. This guide collects those minimums for the colleges and programmes most applicants ask about, for 2025 and 2026.

Three patterns stand out. Political Science, Psychology and B.Com. (Hons.) rose at the top colleges between 2025 and 2026: Hindu Political Science from 950.58 to 958.71, LSR Psychology from 926.53 to 938.09, SRCC B.Com. from 917.43 to 924.30. Economics (Hons.) fell everywhere in the table: SRCC 908.90 → 897.44, Hindu 888.17 → 880.77, LSR 874.39 → 851.22, Miranda House 850.31 → 834.86, St. Stephen’s 904.62 → 891.97. Why is not stated anywhere; CUET Mathematics registrations grew much faster than Economics registrations in 2026 (see the 2026-in-numbers guide in this series), but a causal link would be speculation.

And later rounds usually close lower, but by small margins at the top: SRCC B.Com. went from 924.30 in Round 1 to 923.84 in Round 2, and most top rows did not appear in Round 3 at all because nothing was left to fill. Where Round 3 did list a row, it could close well below Round 1 — Hansraj B.Sc. (H) Computer Science from 783.86 to 715.90.

DU ranks you on the sum of the NTA scores of the four CUET papers in the best combination you have for that programme (see the subject-combination guide in this series). Each NTA score can reach 250, so the standard four-paper merit score has a ceiling of 1,000 — DU never prints the maximum, but the highest 2026 minimum, 958.71, fits it. Programmes that use the General Aptitude Test in a three-paper combination are “prorated”, and DU does not publish the formula; that is why this guide does not compare BMS minimums across years.

Round 1 offered 93,033 allocations against 71,421 sanctioned plus 10,439 supernumerary seats (our sums) — more offers than seats; DU’s release does not give the reason. More than two applicants registered for every DU seat, but seats in the ST and PwBD columns were far from full after Round 1 — which is why the category minimums in those columns fall sharply in later rounds. For UR applicants at the top colleges the opposite holds: Round 1 filled almost everything, and the realistic target is the Round 1 minimum, not a hoped-for drop.
