View Complete ArticleChecked 26 September 2026. Built from official NTA notices for 2024–2026. As of 26 September 2026 cuet.nta.nic.in lists nothing for 2027 — every 2027 date here is a pattern, not an announcement. Check the NTA site before acting.
Search for “CUET UG 2027 exam date” and you will find pages headed “OUT”. There is no such date. On 26 September 2026 NTA’s CUET site lists no bulletin, notice or schedule for 2027. What does exist is three complete cycles of official notices — and they are consistent enough to plan around, with one warning: in 2026 NTA opened registration two months earlier than in 2025, and a student waiting for March would have missed the first window.

Where other pages get this wrong
No CUET (UG) 2027 date has been announced; NTA’s site lists nothing for 2027 on 26 September 2026.
Commonly published instead: Headlines such as “CUET UG 2027 Exam Dates (OUT)”, and “NTA will publish the CUET 2027 notification in December” stated as fact.
cuet.nta.nic.in, checked 26.09.2026. The last three cycles opened registration on 27 Feb 2024, 1 Mar 2025 and 3 Jan 2026.

NTA itself says the 2026 result came “within 16 days … a reduction of 14 days compared to the previous cycle”.
Our day-of-year count from the table above (a shorter bar = earlier).
Read as a pattern, and nothing more: registration has opened between early January and early March; the exam has started in the second week of May every year; it has ended between late May and the first week of June; and the result has come faster each year. If NTA repeats 2026, registration for 2027 would open in early January 2027 — that is our reading of one data point, not a forecast. Plan to be ready by the start of January, with your papers chosen and your documents in order, so that an early window is an advantage rather than a scramble.

NTA notices 03.01–01.06.2026, result press release 23.06.2026; DU CSAS schedule and allocation notices. The 28 May papers were postponed (holiday change) and a 30 May Shift-I glitch meant 3,765 candidates were re-tested on 6–7 June.
Two things in 2026 caught people out. First, the early start: the registration window closed on 4 February and re-opened only briefly (23–26 February), with no correction facility afterwards. Second, the live photograph taken during the application was checked against UIDAI records; candidates flagged for a mismatch (mainly those who registered with a non-Aadhaar ID) had to upload an attested certificate in April and carry it to the centre. Neither is guaranteed for 2027, but both are cheap to prepare for.
| Cycle | Original close | Extended to | Re-opened |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 26 Mar | 31 Mar | — |
| 2025 | 22 Mar | 24 Mar | — |
| 2026 | 30 Jan | 4 Feb (fee to 7 Feb) | 23–26 Feb (no correction afterwards) |
NTA notices 26.03.2024; 22.03.2025; 30.01.2026 and 23.02.2026.
Every cycle NTA has extended its closing date by a few days, and in 2026 it re-opened the form a fortnight after closing it. That is a safety net, not a plan: extensions are announced at the last minute, they have been short (two to five days), and the 2026 re-opening carried no correction window, so anyone who registered then had to get every field right first time. Registering in the first week of the window costs nothing and removes all of that risk. Keep the registration confirmation and the fee receipt: every later step — correction, subject change, city slip, admit card — is reached through the same login, and a lost password in April is a problem nobody wants in exam season.
| Cycle | What happened | Candidates affected |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 | All 28 May papers postponed after a change in the Bakrid holiday; moved to 31 May and 6–7 June | Everyone scheduled that day |
| 2026 | Technical glitch in 30 May Shift I: 73,106 present, 69,341 completed; TCS asked for a root-cause analysis | 3,765 re-tested on 6–7 June |
| 2025 | One Srinagar centre, 13 May Shift II, cancelled | 76 rescheduled |
| 2024 | Re-test on 19 July in CBT mode for candidates whose grievances were found genuine | Not stated in the sources reached |
NTA public notices 24.05.2026, 30.05.2026 and 13.05.2025; 2024 re-test from All India Radio (secondary).
Each disruption was handled by rescheduling within the same cycle, and in 2026 none of them moved the result date — it still came 16 days after the last paper. The lesson for a 2027 candidate is practical: keep the exam week and the week after it clear, because a rescheduled paper can land several days after your original date, and admit cards for rescheduled papers are issued separately.
| Month (2026 pattern) | What happened |
|---|---|
| January–February | Registration, correction, re-opening |
| April | Photo certificate, subject change, city slip |
| May–early June | Exam (19 days, 35 shifts) |
| June | Answer keys, result |
| July–August | University allocation rounds (DU: four) |
Summary of the 2026 tables above.
The months that decide results are October to April, and they are yours: nothing NTA announces changes the syllabus of an NCERT-based paper. Use the calendar only to avoid missing a window — the registration window, the correction window, and the university’s own registration, which DU opened on 26 June in 2026, three days after the CUET result.
Practise it, don't just read it
Four clear months before registration is time for two full passes of the Class XII syllabus. The CUET quizzes are free to start.
The ProSyllabus CUET (UG) library has topic quizzes on reading comprehension, the Constitution, molecular basis of inheritance, organic reaction mechanisms, physics, physical and inorganic chemistry, mathematics, biology, economics, accountancy and history — the first quiz is free.
