Practise the FEAST I aptitude areas before your test

Timed practice in five practice areas we built on abilities EUROCONTROL names for FEAST I (logical reasoning, spatial orientation, attention and visual perception, applying rules, and planning and decision-making), plus English reading. 2 mocks and 6 drills of original questions, with your score by area, your lowest-scoring area on each mock and your time per question. The 3 free questions (spatial orientation, applying rules and English) run in the same test player as the mocks. Each mock is 36 questions, 6 from each area in turn, in 45 minutes. Each drill is 20 questions from one area. The clocks are our own pace: the EUROCONTROL pages we read give no timing for the individual FEAST I tests.

Every rule, number and fact a question needs is in the question itself. No aviation knowledge is assumed and no calculator is needed.

Not practised here

This practice test covers some of the FEAST I abilities and leaves out these parts of FEAST:

  • memory tasks
  • multi-tasking and the tests where you react as fast as you can
  • English listening (FEAST's English test is listening and comprehension; this is reading)
  • FEAST II, the RADAR and MULTI-PASS work sample tests
  • FEAST III, the personality questionnaire

What you see after every test

  • After each mock: your score in each area, side by side, with your time per question in each, a line naming your lowest-scoring area on that mock, with the drill for it, and a line naming your slowest area when it is a different one.
  • After each drill: your score and your time per question, to review your performance on those questions.
  • The reason behind every answer, with the working for every calculation.

A score here is your score on our questions. It is not a FEAST score and does not predict one: each organisation that uses FEAST sets its own cut-off, and EUROCONTROL says in most cases an average result compared with past candidates is enough.

FEAST I, as EUROCONTROL describes it

  • FEAST I is a set of cognitive ability tests and an English language test. EUROCONTROL says it measures basic skills and abilities in decision-making, logical reasoning, visual perception, memory, attention, multi-tasking and spatial orientation; its factsheet also names planning ability, learning and applying rules, processing speed and attention, and 3D visualisation.
  • The tests are computer-based, with a keyboard and a mouse. Some are multiple choice with one correct solution; in others you react as quickly as possible. You might not be able to answer every item in every test.
  • A FEAST I session takes between 2.5 and 4 hours, depending on how many tests the organisation uses. FEAST II (RADAR and MULTI-PASS) and FEAST III (a personality questionnaire) are separate.
  • EUROCONTROL's training platform is free, and EUROCONTROL says its own platform tests are not identical to the real ones. Its information for candidates says the English listening and comprehension test is not covered there.

Before you buy

Are these FEAST questions?

No. Every question is original. The cognitive questions practise abilities EUROCONTROL names for FEAST I, in groupings of our own; the English questions are reading-only practice. We have no FEAST items and none is used. The real tests may be very different.

Does EUROCONTROL recommend this?

No. EUROCONTROL advises candidates against using other test preparation software, because it was developed without EUROCONTROL's involvement or authorisation, and that includes this one. Its free training platform is the preparation it provides: use it first.

Will this raise my FEAST score?

We do not claim that it will. It gives you timed practice on our original questions in some of the abilities EUROCONTROL names for FEAST I, a score by area on our questions, and the reasoning behind every answer, so you can see which kind of question costs you the most time or marks.

What do I get?

192 original questions: 2 mocks of 36 questions (6 from each area, 45 minutes) and 6 drills of 20 questions, one per area, in the full test player with a question palette and mark for review. After each mock: your score and time per question by area and your lowest-scoring area on that mock; after each drill: your score and time per question; after every test, the explanation for every answer. Retake any test as often as you like.

Is there memory or multi-tasking practice?

No. This practice test does not practise memory, multi-tasking, reaction-speed tasks, English listening, FEAST II or FEAST III.

How do I pay and get access?

One payment by card (or PayPal where offered), handled by our payment provider. In the euro area, the United Kingdom and the United States the price is charged in your own currency; elsewhere in your own currency where we support it, otherwise in Indian rupees with the local figure shown as an estimate. Access opens on this device straight after payment. Sign in afterwards to keep it on your account. Purchase policy.
