The real exam, from CAG’s own pages
- Paper C-2 syllabus: provisions of CAG’s Auditing Standards 2017, the International Auditing Standards issued by IFAC, Ind AS notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, IGAS issued by GASAB, IPSAS issued by IPSASB, and CAG’s Guidelines on Data Analytics.
- Each paper: 2 hours and 100 marks (revised CPD syllabus). CAG does not publish how many questions a paper has.
- Negative marking: CAG’s examination FAQ says that, as of now, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in departmental examinations held in CBT mode, so each wrong answer costs a quarter of a mark.
- Pass mark: 50% in each paper. A paper you pass counts as passed and is exempt at later sittings.
- Chances and benefit: six chances at each CPD test; qualifying a test earns one advance increment.
- When: twice a year. Exam-2 of 2025 was held from 28 January to 1 February 2026 and Exam-1 of 2026 from 22 to 27 June 2026. The next sitting is announced in an exam wing circular.

What do I get?
Two full C-2 mocks of 100 questions, 2 hours each, across all six areas in the CAG syllabus for C-2. Every answer has an explanation naming the standard and paragraph behind it. Each mock runs in our exam player (timer, question palette, mark for review) and ends with your score by standard and your time per question. Resit each mock as often as you like.
Are these real CAG questions?
No. They are our own questions, written from the official texts: CAG’s Auditing Standards 2017 and Guidelines on Data Analytics, the IGAS notifications, ICAI’s Ind AS compendium, and the IPSAS and International Auditing Standards as their boards publish them. CAG has not written or endorsed them.
Does it use negative marking?
CAG’s examination FAQ says that, as of now, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in departmental examinations held in CBT mode. Our player gives 1 mark per correct answer; for a negative-marked score on our mock, subtract 0.25 for each wrong answer. That is our practice score, not a forecast of your CAG result.
Is the exam 100 questions?
CAG publishes each paper as 2 hours and 100 marks, but not the number of questions. Our mocks are 100 questions of 1 mark each in 2 hours.
How do I pay and get access?
