The eligibility and fee rows are drawn from the description of the Haryana B.Ed process associated with CRSU in the 2025 cycle, and are marked as such rather than presented as confirmed 2026-27 figures. The higher 55 per cent bar for candidates holding an engineering or technology degree is a distinctive feature of the Haryana rules and is easy to miss.

Only one 2026-27 date for CRSU B.Ed is on record, the application window. The 2025 rows are included as a shape for what the counselling calendar has looked like, clearly labelled as last cycle, and must not be used as 2026 dates. On the 2025 pattern, counselling began about two days after applications closed and classes started about three weeks later.

Two things trip up CRSU B.Ed applicants. The first is the widely repeated claim that Haryana B.Ed runs as one centralised counselling under CRSU; that description belongs to earlier cycles, and in 2026-27 the three B.Ed universities ran separate portals and separate deadlines. The second is that the public record for CRSU's own 2026-27 B.Ed counselling is almost empty, so planning from aggregator pages rather than from the university portal is unsafe here in a way it is not for MDU.

CRSU is credited with administering the centralised Haryana B.Ed admission covering colleges affiliated to CRSU, Kurukshetra University and Gurugram University, and that arrangement is described with a full 2025 calendar. For 2026-27 the evidence points the other way: Kurukshetra took B.Ed applications on its own IUMS portal to 9 August, MDU took them on admission.mdu.ac.in to 27 August, and CRSU ran its own window to 31 August. Whether the joint arrangement has lapsed, narrowed or simply been reported loosely is not something any source consulted settles. Candidates should verify with the CRSU helpdesk which colleges a CRSU application actually reaches before assuming statewide coverage.

The Haryana B.Ed eligibility associated with this process sets the ordinary floor at 50 per cent in a bachelor's or postgraduate degree, but raises it to 55 per cent for candidates whose qualifying degree is in engineering or technology. That is a real and frequently missed distinction. An engineering graduate at 52 per cent who reads only the headline fifty per cent figure will be rejected at verification rather than at upload, after paying the fee and waiting for a merit list. Anyone applying on a B.Tech or B.E. should confirm the current wording against the CRSU prospectus before applying, since this figure comes from a reported description of the 2025 rules.

In 2025 the process moved fast at the back end: applications closed on 21 August, round one counselling opened on 23 August, all three online rounds finished by 7 September, physical counselling ran 9 to 11 September and classes began on 12 September. That is roughly three weeks from the close of applications to the start of teaching. The planning consequence is that a candidate cannot treat the post-application period as dormant. Documents, category and domicile certificates and the fee for seat acceptance need to be ready before the application window closes, because the gap between allotment and reporting in this process has historically been days, not weeks.

The application fee, reported at INR 1,000 general and INR 625 for OBC, SC, ST, PwD and Haryana women, is trivial next to the annual college fee, reported to range from about INR 10,000 to about INR 70,000 depending on the institution. That sevenfold spread across colleges of education is the single largest financial decision in the process, and it is made during choice filling, not afterwards. Building a ranked list of colleges with their fees written next to them before counselling opens is worth more than any amount of preparation, because choices are exercised under time pressure once a round begins.

CRSU's notices and circulars listing carried no B.Ed admission entry when checked, and the admission portal's public pages describe undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., BPED and MPED admissions without a B.Ed section. In that situation the published contact route is not a fallback but the primary one: the portal lists 01681-241058 and the addresses admission@crsu.ac.in and helpdesk@crsu.ac.in, staffed weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. A single call establishing the current merit list and counselling dates is more reliable than any secondary page, and this is precisely the kind of exam where a wrong date carries a real cost.
